In Krasnoyarsk, Russia, employees of the regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor, along with the police, discovered around 800 kg of imported fruits, which were forbidden from import into Russia, as reported the press service of the department.

In the wholesale market Yuzhny, experts revealed facts concerning the sale of 587 kg of Polish apples and almost 200 kg of oranges from Spain. The importers were declared to be Belarusian companies. Supporting documents for the goods could not be found and the fruits were deemed to have been imported illegally.

The prohibited products of a total weight of 786.7 kg were withdrawn from sale and destroyed with bulldozers in the Municipality’s waste landfill.
