Between January and October 2016, Swiss strawberry sales amounted to 112 million Swiss francs. This makes them the clear berry winners.
In second place are raspberries, which are significantly far behind, with a good 64 million Swiss francs in the first 10 months of the year, according to the current market report on fruits and vegetables from the BLW's Market Analysis Department. Blueberry sales are in third place with almost 57 million Swiss francs. The blackberry turnover is around 5 million and that of currants at 2.7 million.
