A train full of delicious oranges from Yichang and mangoes from south China departed for Russia on November 22nd. The China-Europe Railway Express train left from Wuhan Station and will cross the border at Manzhouli. The train is expected to arrive in Irkutsk in 15 days.
The China-Europe Railway Express began specialized refrigerated transport in 2016 when a train brought top-quality products from France to Wuhan.
Wuhan is well-known in China for top-quality products and the China-Europe Railway Express has established a specialized, international distribution network that allows China to export top-quality fruit and vegetables to Europe. At the same time, the direct railway to Vietnam allows China to import tropical products from Indo-China for the domestic market and for export to Europe. This extensive railway network helps Wuhan to take its place as China's fruit export center.
