Overseas fresh commodities are rapidly entering the Chinese market. Recently, Ali Global Fresh Supply Chain announced that the French beef directly collected by Cloud and Yiguo Group was launched online and offline by Tmall Supermarket and Auchan Supermarket. Through this purchase, France has become the second EU beef country to return to the Chinese market after Ireland.
It is understood that the beef varieties introduced in this cloud supply chain are Charolais cattle in France. The beef directly collected from ELIVIA company of TERRENA, a French agricultural cooperation group. ELIVIA is the second largest beef slaughtering and processing group in France.
According to the French Consulate in Shanghai, France is currently the eighth largest beef producer in the world, with a beef output of 1.5 million tons in 2017, of which 16% is for export. At the China International Import Expo in November this year, INTERBEV, the French Association of Animal Husbandry and Meat, said that only two French beef producers had access to the Chinese market. In addition, five French beef producers have passed the Chinese government's evaluation and will enter the Chinese market after the entry procedures are completed.
