Data from ASKCI shows that the export volume of Chinese vegetables slightly increased in the period 2013-2015, and this trend continued in 2017-2018. China exported 9.48 million tons of vegetables in 2018, which is an increase of 2.5% in comparison with 2017.


As for the export value, there was a moderate increase in the period 2013-2017. The value of Chinese vegetable export reached 13.1 billion USD in 2017, which is an increase of 7% in comparison with 2016. The export value dropped by 4.1% to 12.6 billion USD in 2018.
