The famous Aiwen mango from Taiwan matured early this year in Pingdong, Taiwan. The winter was relatively warm and production began early. The trade volume and the price are both excellent. Some farmers say that the mango arrived on the market early, which is why the price is relatively high. The Aiwen mango was not a common sight during Tomb-Sweeping Day [April 5th, 2019] in previous years, but this year many consumers will buy the Aiwen mango to place it as a gift on ancestral tombs. However, the weather recently turned cold and rainfall increased. This affects orchards where the unprotected mangoes are vulnerable to fruit rot.
