Established in 2011, Malaysian company Carzo has gone from being a wholesaler to importing and supplying supermarkets, hypermarkets, catering, hospitals, airlines and more.
"Currently we import all different of types fruits from all around the world. Apples, pears, citrus, berries, stone fruits and much more," explains Aaron Teng, Business Development Director.
"In 2021, one of our targets is expand our business into the fruit export line, we hope to export Malaysia fresh fruits such as MD2 pineapples, durian, Red Dragon fruits, jackfruit and other tropical fruit to worldwide markets. We hope that while importing fruit from around the world, we can also promote and export Malaysia's fruits to the world.".
The target markets will be UAE, Europe and Asia.
"We are already very strong in supplying the domestic market. Many of the big retailers are our main customers."
Carzo grows pineapples and durian on a farm in Malaysia, but at the they believe the supply is not enough to cater for the demand, so they will be sourcing from others growers as well.
