Core Tip: Hain Celestial Group, a US-based natural and organic products company, plans to invest $10m expand its international corporate headquarters.

Under the expansion plan, the company has leased new office space at Lake Success, New York, where it plans to relocate its existing 250 Long Island-based employees and create over 100 new jobs over the next ten years.

As part of the relocation, the company will lease and make capital improvements to an 86,000² facility. The company's expansion plan is supported by an incentive package from Empire State Development (ESD) of $4.5m in Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits.

Hain Celestial founder, president and CEO Irwin D Simon said the design and layout of the new facility will provide them with a nurturing environment to foster the next level of growth for the company.

"Our new in-house research and development capability will create products that will be sold all over the world," Simon added.

According to the company, its current lease is set to expire later this year, and it explored alternative locations in the tri-state area before determining that the Lake Success location would best facilitate the company's growth plans.
