The new salad features morsels of shellfish and crustaceans such as squid, baby octopus, cuttlefish, mussels and prawns, which are lightly dressed in sunflower oil with a hint of parsley and garlic.
The new product has been developed to make an appetizer or entrée when served with seafood sauce. It is also designed for alfresco style eating, reported Fdin.org.uk.
It can be served with a bowl of Marie rose sauce for dipping or with a green salad for a light lunch. The new seafood salad, which comes in comes in a 200g jar, is available from Sainsbury's or at the company's online store.
