The announcement comes just weeks after the European Commission gave the green light to deal on conditions the UK-based corrugated packaging firm sell three plants – two in the UK and one in France.
DS Smith said it would complete the acquisition on the final day of the month after satisfying the conditions laid down by Brussels in May.
