Pepperidge Farm to introduce 35 new products

Pepperidge Farm, a US-based provider of bakery products, is set to introduce 35 new products across multiple categories this year, to mark the company’s 75th year anniversary.

The new products include Pepperidge Farm Simply Natural breads in soft and smooth-textured Honey Wheat and Honey Oat varieties; Goldfish bread, soft, made with whole grain and no high fructose corn syrup, in Brown Sugar and Cinnamon varieties; and Pepperidge Farm Caramel Apple Swirl bread, a limited edition seasonal treat.

Other products include Pepperidge Farm Jingos! snack crackers in three varieties -- zesty Lime & Sweet Chili, savory Parmesan Garlic, and smoky Fiesta Cheddar. Pepperidge Farm Milano Slices Salted Pretzel cookies, a crunchy combination of sweet and salty flavors.

Pepperidge Farm Milano Melts Vanilla Crème, a crispy, chocolaty cookie with a velvety crème filling. Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookie Cake, a two-layer vanilla cake with real chocolate buttercream icing and filling, and Pepperidge Farm Soft Baked cookies.

The company has also announced it is set to open its new Innovation Center, a 34,000ft2 building at its Norwalk, Connecticut, in September 2012. The center, which features a pilot plant and culinary kitchens, will allow for more broad ranging innovation and product development.
