Thai Farm, which began operations in 2010, is one of the leading suppliers of High Quality Cassava Flour (HQCF) to flour millers.

Flour Mills of Nigeria noted that with this acquisition, it will be able to ensure consistency in quality, availability and affordability of HQCF in the country. The company plans to increase Thai Farm's capacity in the future to address the growing demand for HQCF by flour millers in Nigeria, reported Businessdayonline.com.

Thai Farm will also be provided support to diversify into production of other value added products such as starch and sweeteners.

Flour Mills of Nigeria is involved in span flour milling, pasta manufacturing, port operations, fertilizer blending, cement trading and manufacturing, bags and other packaging materials manufacturing, and agricultural business activities in Nigeria.
