Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, a grocery store chain in the western US, has introduced 60 new baked goods and desserts, including new varieties of bagels, scones, cookies, breads, pies, cupcakes, and pastries.
The new products include several seasonal flavored, gluten free and organic options. They do not contain artificial colors or flavors, high-fructose corn syrup, or added trans fats.
Fresh & Easy noted that over 15 of the bakery items have been specially designed just for the fall season. Some of the seasonal offerings which are baked fresh daily in stores include Maple Pecan Braid, Cinnamon Apple Muffins, Cranberry Walnut Loaf, and Pumpkin Scones with Vanilla Icing.
The company has improved its line of traditional desserts and introduced some new items, including Bonkers Berry Pie, The Devilish Dozen Red Velvet Mini Cupcakes and Cookies 'n' Cream.
Fresh & Easy operates 199 stores in Arizona, California and Nevada. It offers fresh baked goods, meats and produce, among others. According to the company, its products contain no artificial colors, flavors, high-fructose corn syrup or added trans fats.
