Gervasi Vineyard, an Ohio-based premier winery and vineyard, is to add new features to its winery and expand the production capacity.
Located at 1700 55th St NE, the winery was designed to produce 8,000gal of wine annually in five years.
Slated to begin in late summer 2012, the revamped facility will allow the winery to increase its current annual winemaking capacity to 30,000gal.
Gervasi Vineyard general manager Scott Swaldo told CantonRep.com that the new 14,000ft² facility will be across from the Villa Grande, which is already operating.
Swaldo told the website that they had reached the 8,000gal target within two years itself and now in its third year it is producing 12,000-15,000gal of wine.
The new features of the winery include two-story space with first floor featuring views of winery and barrel room and an eatery offering food alongside complimentary wine.
The second floor features an outdoor balcony that provides views of the creek bed and south vineyard, a Café by day and lounge by night place and an expanded winery tour, private tasting and educational experiences and space for private events.
