Cupari Wines, a small, independent business importing Argentinean wines, has opened its business.
The company will be supplying wines to independent retailers and to the on-trade markets through sampling events, Malbec World Day 2013 and online activity.
Cupari has already made tie-ups with five small wineries that have annual production between 70,000-100,000 liters. It has further secured listings with Buen Ayre Argentinian Grill to increase the business, reported Harpers.
The company's portfolio has 19 wines including Hacienda Del Plata, Monte Quieto and Familia Blanco from Luján de Cuyo; Gimenez Riili from Uco Valley, and Cupari, the company's own label Malbec.
Cupari Wines founder Nick Smith told the website that they are not interested in supplying big volume brands to supermarkets and are focusing on supplying exclusive parcels to independent merchants and restaurants.
