Canada-based Railway City Brewing Company is planning to increase production and move to a larger facility in 2013.
As part of expansion, the four-year-old craft brewery has purchased a former tool-and die-shop at 130 Edward St., in St. Thomas, Canada.
The new location, which is expected to begin in 2013, will have an expanded production facility for bottles, cans and draft beer, a larger retail store and a tasting room large enough to hold special events.
Railway City manufactures Iron Spike, Black Coal Stout and Honey Elixir and Dead Elephant Ale.
The brewery at present employs 10 full- and part-time staff, which is expected to increase once the new facility completes, according to The London Free Press.
