DC Brau Brewing Company is planning a second production expansion to nearly double its production.
As part of expansion, the brewery will also add five new 60 barrel fermentation tanks and a new 60 barrel Brite Tank, which are expected to become functional by January 2013.
The move, which is part of its 2012-13 expansion plans, will increase the production from 5,000bpa to over 12,000bpa.
DC Brau Brewing CEO Brandon Skall said the expansion will meet both the needs of Washington DC proper, Maryland as well as the rest of the Capital region.
"We know we'll be ready for our loyal Maryland fans, in 2013," Skall added.
