The troppitaya, which is the name that Prof. Yossi Mizrahi, from the University Ben Gurion, and agronomist Yosi Tsafrir gave to their creation, exceeded all expectations.
It has a sour tropical taste, a bright violet purple color and meaty texture similar to a kiwi.
