High Liner Foods announced the edition of two products to its Viking Natural Tilapia line.
Timed to coincide with Lent (13 February to 30 March), the new Viking products include Basil Pesto Tilapia and Baja Seasoned Tilapia.
Both products are comprised of natural cuts from cage-grown tilapia and are available in 3 to 4-ounce servings for the foodservice market. Both also offer low sodium levels.
“These new additions to the Viking line use simple ingredients to offer outstanding flavor and nutritional benefits for all foodservice operations,” said Kristen Bouchie, Viking associate brand manager. “In addition to center-of-the-plate solutions and increased menu flexibility, our product lineup is making it easy to bring in-demand popular global cuisines like Italian and Nuevo Latino to foodservice operations with heat and serve simplicity.”
