British Columbia-based Tinhorn Creek Vineyards is all set to roll out their first limited edition 2010 vintage -Oldfield Series Cabernet Franc 2010 - on 1 February 2013.
Made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes sourced from Diamondback Vineyard on the Black Sage Bench on 21 October 2010, the wine is initially aged for 15 months in new French and American oak barrels and finally aged in bottles for nine months.
Tinhorn Creek Vineyards president, CEO and winemaker Sandra Oldfield told Scout Magazine, "We have built a following for this wine over the years and hope that the addition of an even more intense estate Cabernet Franc will please our loyal 'Franc-o-philes'."
Only 374 cases of the wine will be available for purchase from 1 February 2013 through the winery and at its restaurant Miradoro for $34.99. From 15-31 January 2013, the wine will be exclusively available for its Crush Club Members.
According to the winery, orders for a full case of 12 bottles made till 15 February 2013 will be shipped free of cost.
