Ceretto, a Piedmont-based family winery that produces wines from four estates in Piedmont region, has selected New Jersey-based importer and distributor of wines Winebow as the sole importer of its wines in the US.

From 1 March 2013, Winebow will import Ceretto family's wines such as Barolo Bricco Rocche, Barolo Brunate, Barolo Prapo, Barbaresco Bricco Asili, Barbaresco Bernardot, Barolo Zonchera, Barbaresco Asij, Dolcetto d' Alba Rossana, Langhe Rosso Monsordo, Langhe Arneis Blange and Moscato d'Asti.

The Ceretto family business was formed in 1960, when brothers Bruno and Marcello Ceretto started the business with an aim to produce wines from select vineyards in Piedmont. Currently, the family is being represented by their third generation, Roberta, Lisa, Alessandro and Federico.

Ceretto now produces wines from over 395 acres of vineyards in four of their Piedmont estates - Bricco Rocche in Castiglione Falletto, Bricco Asili in Barbaresco, Monsordo Bernardina in Alba, and I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano in Santo Stefano Belbo.

Winebow founder and chairman Leonardo LoCascio said throughout their family generations, the Ceretto family has earned reputation for producing wines from the Piedmont region through traditional practices and innovation.

Ceretto joins Winebow's Italian portfolio comprising over 50 wineries throughout Italy.
