Moet & Chandon, a France-based champagne house and owner of Dom Perignon brand, has rolled out a new champagne Dom Perignon rose vintage 2002 at Leighton House Museum in the UK.
The pink colored champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and is aged for 10 years on the lees. It is full bodied with creamy character and carries hints of smoke and black cherry.
Moët Hennessy account manager Jack Dundas was quoted by the drinks business as saying that major UK merchants like Berry Bros and Farr Vintners, who stocked the vintage, have completely sold out the stock.
The launch in London was preceded by Istanbul launch. Each bottle of Dom Perignon rose vintage 2002 is sold for £340.
