US-based Fort Collins Brewery is planning to install a new 50-barrel brewhouse to expand its beer-making capacity to 32,300 barrels per annum.

The new brewhouse will be imported from Germany in July and is scheduled to replace the company's 20-barrel brewhouse by August 2013, reports the Northern Colarado Business Report.

Fort Collins Brewery owner Tom Peters said that they have seen steady growth over the last 10 years, but it's been mostly through word-of-mouth and the efforts of their sales team on the ground.

"Now that the beer is where we want it to be, we want to fly our flag higher and spread the word about what we're doing here," Peters added.

The new system is expected to start brewing the first batch of beer in September.

The brewery claims that the building is large enough to house the new system and plans to sell the current system to house the new one.
