Russia said it will include turkey in a ban on U.S. animal protein products based on the country's prohibition of the feed additive ractopamine, effective Feb. 11.
The restrictions will apply to turkey meat as well as to turkey meat finished products, Moscow said in a government statement.
Russia already had announced a ban on chilled an frozen beef and pork exports.
The ban on chilled products went into effect on Feb. 4, and the ban on frozen product is also scheduled to take effect Feb. 11.
