Phillips Distilling Company (PDC), a Minnesota-based distillery and house brand of liquors, has reported increase in sales of its two vodka brands UV Vodka and Phillips Vodka, based on 52 week study by US Nielsen Scan Data.

In the flavored vodka category, UV Blue was the most sold spirit in Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa, while in the unflavored vodka category Phillips Vodka was the most sold brand in Minnesota.

Phillips Vodka and UV Vodka were introduced by the distillery in 1947 and 2001, respectively. Both the brands' spirits are made from Midwestern grain and Minnesota water. They are distilled four times before subjecting to carbon filtering to remove impurities. The spirits are then unblended for optimal pH levels.

PDC president and CEO Pedro Caceres said they are happy to report increase in sales of their brands, which have good quality, flavor innovation and come with competitive pricing.

"Our company is growing rapidly; consumer demand continues to increase in the U.S. and we've recently expanded internationally with great success," Caceres added.
