Lieb Foods, a US-based food and beverage contract manufacturer, is set to install a new canned beverage production line at its Kennewick facility in Washington to produce single-serve PET beverages.

The new production line, which will be supported by multi-million dollar investment, will allow the company to manufacture hot-fill, cold-fill, carbonated and pasteurized beverages in aluminum cans. Currently, the facility manufactures beverages, sauces, dressings and jams.

The company, which currently manufactures beverages, sauces, dressings and jams, will be able to offer its products in various can and batch sizes from March 2013.

Lieb Foods president Jim Lieb said that the new line will allow the company to extend capabilities and expand operations.

"As we continue to grow and meet the increased demand for top-notch beverage packaging, we help them save on shipping costs and simplify logistics, while enabling them to source all of their Western U.S. and Canada manufacturing needs in one place with a trusted supplier," Lieb added.

Lieb Foods manages the manufacturing and logistics needs of branded and private label products of all sizes and volumes of organic foods and beverages.
