Chicken Cock Distilleries, a South Carolina-based distillery, has brought back its Chicken Cock Whiskey in new packaging and flavors.
Established in 1856 in Paris, Kentucky, the Chicken Cock soon became a popular bourbon brand then. However, during the Prohibition, the production of Chicken Cock Whiskey was moved to Canada. Now, the whiskey is back in the US and is bottled in Charleston, South Carolina.
Chicken Cock Whiskey is now available in three variants - Chicken Cock Southern Spiced Whiskey, Chicken Cock Cinnamon Whiskey and Chicken Cock Root Beer Whiskey. Each of the flavors is made from natural ingredients and bottled at 86 proof.
All the three variants are offered in bottles made of 100% aluminum to retain the temperature of the blend.
Chicken Cock Distilleries founder Matti Anttila said, "When I discovered Chicken Cock in 2010 I knew it was a brand that needed to be brought back."
The three flavored whiskies are currently available in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee at suggested retail price of $19.99 per bottle.
