Clean Water Systems & Stores, a California-based water treatment provider of contaminated well water, has introduced a line of custom water purification systems to address a wide variety of common water quality problems for safe drinking water.
The new technology will address common water quality problems such as bacteria, odor, iron, arsenic, nitrate and other water problems for small communities and point-of-use applications.
Installation and maintenance of this new system is easy than traditional water treatment plants, claims the company.
Currently operational in Cochabamba, Bolivia, the new system has been disinfecting the water and removing the high iron from the water and is offering a clean, disinfected water for the community.
International Andean Services Hugo Valdivia has arranged and coordinated the project for the OTB Municipal.
Valdivia said, "The iron levels before the treatment system is 2.43 PPM whereas after the treatment the iron is reduced to 0.10."
Clean Water Systems CEO Gerry Bulfin said, "There is a huge and growing demand for well water treatment systems in many Latin American countries but often the prices are out of reach. Our low cost modular ultra-filtration treatment and well water disinfection systems can make a difference."
The company has also installed the new systems in countries - Honduras, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.
