U.K.-based The Saucy Fish Co., known for producing convenient marinated seafood for cooking, is expanding its product range with a new line of pre-cooked, ready-to-eat products.Called the Ready to Enjoy range, the company is expected to showcase the new offerings at the 2013 European Seafood Exposition taking place later this month in Brussels, Belgium. U.K. retailers will begin carrying the products starting on 10 April in 440 stores, and in more stores starting 22 April. The products will appear in Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrison, Ocado and Booth’s stores, along with other retailers.
The range includes four new chilled salmon products, to be eaten as-is or heated up as a meal.
“Our research shows that consumers are looking for nutritional and delicious fish options that are easy to prepare with no mess, and we have the sales results to back that up,” said Simon Smith, sales and marketing director at The Saucy Fish. “We take a fun, down-to-earth approach and bring together the freshest and most delectable ingredients for a perfect meal.”
