Anchor, a UK dairy brand, has announced the unveiling of Anchor Cheddar cheese range, which features a new easy ‘pinch’ close seal developed by Aplix.
The use of Aplix seal technology eliminates the requirement to line up the packaging channels to close the pack again. This makes it not only easier to close but also keeps the cheddar cheese fresh for longer duration.
Anchor has entered into an agreement with Aplix seal technology makers, which will allow Anchor to be the only block cheese brand in the UK to use the seal technology for about 18 months.
Aplix UK managing director Caine Folkes-Miller was quoted by FoodBev.com as saying that the company is excited to be part of the world's 1st branded block cheese launch using Aplix technology with Anchor Cheddar.
