Accolade Wines, an Australia-based winery, has signed a five-year deal with global beverage logistic provider JF Hillebrand to move its wines from all across Europe and the southern hemisphere to Accolade Park in Bristol, UK.
Under the deal, Hillebrand will use sea, road and rail services to move both case and bulk carriages from different Accolade Wines sites in Europe to Bristol.
According to Hillebrand, the new deal allows the company to take advantage of supply chain savings, environmental benefits and provide feasible customer service.
Accolade portfolio of wine brands includes Hardys, Banrock Station from Australia; Flagstone and Kumala from South Africa; and Geyser Peak from the Napa Valley, US.
Accolade Wines global planning and logistics director Richard Anning said the company has wine production centers in Australia, South Africa and California and distribution across the globe, which makes logistics a complex task.
"We're confident JF Hillebrand will be able to partner with us in providing the level of service our customers expect," Anning added.
