Seattle's Best Coffee, a Washington-based coffee retailer and wholly owned subsidiary of Starbucks, has opened drive-thru windows at ten new locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth on 20 May 2013.
The ten new coffee drive-thrus are located at busy intersections and next to popular shopping centers throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. The ten locations are Burleson; Lancaster; Love Field, Dallas; Marsh & Frankford, Dallas; McCart, Fort Worth; McKinney; Rockwall; Tarrant & Beach, Fort Worth; Timbercreek, Dallas; and Wheatland, Dallas.
The new drive-thru windows were built in DeSoto, Texas and were transported to the ten locations on trucks. This saved the company from market entry time and initial investment costs.
Seattle's Best Coffee vice president and general manager Frank Sica said they are welcoming coffee drinkers from all across Dallas/Fort Worth to taste a piece of Seattle at the ten new drive-thrus.
"This concept is for coffee drinkers who are purchasing coffee outside of cafes at places such as convenience stores, gas stations and fast food restaurants2," Sica added.
"This is our opportunity to give time-pressed coffee drinkers a better cup of coffee and a better breakfast."
The company further plans to open four new drive-thrus at other locations of Dallas/Fort Worth such as Lewisville; South Cooper, Arlington; Westworth and Wylie in late summer 2013.
