Ole Imports, a Spain-based wine importer, is to expand its portfolio with the addition of new rose wine, Liquid Geography, in summer 2013.
Founded in 1999, Ole Imports is known for producing wines based on four main principles: terroir, quality fruit, exceptional winemaking and exceptional value.
Ole Imports co-founder Patrick Mata said Liquid Geography is made from Monastrell grapes that show different qualities when compared to other grapes.
"When grown in the higher elevations of the southeastern region of Spain, Monastrell grapes produce floral, uplifted and very elegant wines," Mata added.
Though Liquid Geography was slated for limited release, the buzz among distributors has encouraged the company to create more wines. The wine will be available for purchase online at http://mgracias.com/ and at retail locations in select states across the US for $12.
All the proceeds raised from the limited release sales will be donated to the TJ Martell Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for innovative cancer research programs across the country.
