FarmlaWheat Beer Bratsnd Foods and Boulevard Brewing Co., both based in Kansas City, Mo., joined forces to create Wheat Beer Brats.

“At Farmland, we have a lot of passion for producing high-quality pork products, and we’re excited to partner with another Kansas City-based company who also has a passion for what they do every day,” says Brendan Smith, vice president of marketing for Farmland Foods. “Boulevard’s unique, flavorful brews and Farmland’s tender, high-quality brats bring together two of Kansas City’s favorites. We couldn’t imagine a better partnership to serve up new possibilities for summer grilling.”

The new brats are made with high-quality USDA-inspected cuts of domestic pork and Boulevard’s two most popular brews—Pale Ale and Unfiltered Wheat Beer. The brats also contain natural antioxidants and no MSG. They are available at local grocery stores, select bars and restaurants, and inside Kaufmann Stadium at both Boulevard Grills and the all new Farmland Grill.

“This project with Farmland was a home run from the beginning,” says Jeremy Ragonese, director of marketing for Boulevard. “A company with strong local roots combined with a commitment to making premium products makes a perfect complement to our beers, and a brat made with craft beer is something we know our employees, along with beer lovers throughout the region, will be excited to enjoy all summer long.”
