Recently, Dongyang Seafood Industry and Trade Co., Ltd in Huichun, Jilin province successfully secured qualifition seafood export into Europe Union, which was the first aquatic enterprise in Jinlin province in the year who had acquired registration approval in EU. Owing to the strict requirement and high threshold of seafood import in EU, gaining registration qualification in EU means a lot to Chinese aquatic processing export enterprises, maybe to the similar enterprises in the whole world.
Aquatic product is one of the eight one million-industries project that Huichun government focuses on as key strategy. To serve the project and expand seafood export, Huichun Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau help and guide local enterprises to gain foreign export registration.
Up to July this year, aquatic enterprises under Huichun administration have gained access registration in many countries, among which there are 9 gaining registration in Korea, 6 in Russia, 6 in USA, 5 in EU, 2 in Brazil, 1 in Vietnam. And in latest 3 years, the enterpreises with the foreign registration qualification has exported a total of 1980 batches and 197, 097, 000 US Dollars worth of aquatic products.
