Canti, an Italy-based wine producer, has lauched new packaging for its sparkling wines Prosecco and Asti.
Canti Prosecco is now packed in a new dark green colored, tall and heavier bottle. Canti Asti continues with the dark colored glass bottle, but switches to slightly taller and heavier bottle.
While the dark green colored bottles of Canti Prosecco will be available only in the UK markets, its clear glass bottles will be available in all other export markets, reported Harpers.
The packaging also includes addition of textured labels, which retains the brand's black and gold colors and the rose symbol, but concentrates more on the vintage.
Canti brand owner Fratelli Martini Secondo Luigi UK representative Chris Eales told the website that this is probably one of the first packaging styles like this with the vintage printed on the label.
"Prosecco has always been made as a vintage and people look for freshness," Eales added.
Canti Prosecco has enjoyed successful run in the UK, whereas Canti Asti is growing continuously and the new design will allow it to further differentiate itself from the other Asti brand, Martini, on supermarket shelves.
