Drinks giant Beam is set to introduce EFFEN Salted Caramel Vodka under its EFFEN Vodka brand in summer 2013.
The vodka offers a combined balance of buttery flavor of caramelized sweet sugar and a hint of salt, which can be used for making variety of cocktails such as EFFEN Toasted White Cranberry and EFFEN Salted Caramel Popcorn Martini.
Beam vodka senior director Jason Dolenga said when deciding to expand the EFFEN Vodka portfolio, they wanted to ensure that their next innovation complemented the brand's existing unique and modern flavors.
"Consumers are looking for sweet and savory flavor profiles and we've captured it perfectly with EFFEN Salted Caramel Vodka," Dolenga added.
Bottled at 75 proof, each 750ml bottle of EFFEN Salted Caramel Vodka will be sold at suggested retail price of $27.99.
EFFEN Salted Caramel Vodka will join the EFFEN brand portfolio, which includes EFFEN Vodka, EFFEN Cucumber Vodka, EFFEN Black Cherry Vodka and EFFEN Raspberry Vodka.
