The Alkaline Water Company has received approval for the distribution of its bulk size, mineral enhanced Alkaline Water from United Natural Foods, an independent national distributor.
UNFI currently operates 15 distribution centers and five main units and offers services including marketing and promotional tools, merchandising, category management and store support services.
Alkaline Water is a pH balanced bottled alkaline drinking water enhanced with trace minerals and electrolytes. It is packaged in 3l and one gallon sizes.
The product is currently available for consumer sales at major retail locations across many parts of the US.
The Alkaline Water president and CEO Steven Nickolas said that they have moved beyond regional placement positioning directly into the national marketplace.
"We have committed to a 12 month promotional program with UNFI in order that thousands of retailers across the country will have the ability to more readily connect with the benefits of our Alkaline Water experience," Nickolas added.
"We have completed the initial shipments to all UNFI distribution centers, so product can be provided immediately."
