American beverage firm Sunshine Beverages has developed a new energy drink, which is different from its eXreme energy drink brethren.
Sunshine energy drink contains 50mg of caffeine, electrolytes, Vitamin B-12, ginger-root extract, stevia and a hint of blackberry for flavor.
Commenting on the product, Sunshine Beverages founder Joe Parrish said, "Something that people would drink when they just wanted to clear their heads and jumpstart their day; not jump a bike over the Grand Canyon."
"That kind of started us to thinking there's this race in the energy drink category to get more and more extreme," added Parrish.
Currently, Sunshine is available at six Quality Mart stores and 23 4 Brothers stores in the Triad, alongside Lowes Foods store in Clemmons.
In addition, Sunshine Beverages is planning to develop various products under the Buck O'Hairen brand, as well as add more new flavors of Sunshine beverage.
