Statistics Canada and USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) published potato production for both countries in one report.
The 2013 fall potato production for the U.S. and Canada combined is estimated at 501 million hundredweight, down 3 percent from 2012.
The U.S. fall potato production is estimated at 398 million hundredweight, 5 percent below 2012.
Canada's potato growers harvested 103 million hundredweight, up 2 percent from 2012.
