Global leader in food seasoning and packaging solutions, tna, has launched an automated continuous slurry mixing and application system for the snacking industry.
Ideal for salty snacks, baked snacks and extruded products that require slurry flavouring in a tumble drum, the high performance tna intelli-flav® CLS 3 closed-loop slurry (CLS) seasoning system enhances the homogeneity of the slurry mix. Plus, its unique spraying technology and control ensures consistency of application to the snacks. In addition, the fully automated design of the system, including dry seasoning, oil, and other ingredients, reduces the need for dedicated labour and simplifies the production line.
The latest innovation in the leading tna intelli-flav® seasoning series, tna intelli-flav® CLS 3 offers a unique combination of automated continuous slurry mixing and controlled spraying. Working simply from bags of seasoning powder and a pressurised supply of oil, the new system meters the ingredients to a specified recipe, mixes it using an innovative under-surface mixing head within a double jacketed, heat-controlled heated tank, then applies the slurry to the products via specially designed spray guns. Spraying accuracy is controlled by a high performance, positive displacement pump which measures the actual usage of slurry compared to required levels, adjusting automatically to ensure consistency of application and minimum waste.
