American crabmeat producer and distributor Blue Star Foods has expanded its marketing through a mobile app for iPhones and iPads, with an Android app in development.
The app, according to the company, provides information on Blue Star products, including recipes and cooking videos featuring celebrity chefs Michael Schwartz and Michelle Bernstein. The app also provides educational and nutritional information about Blue Star crabmeat and Blue Star's social responsibilities.
"The New Blue Star Foods App is a great tool for not only us at Blue Star but also our broker community and the sales reps at our distributor customers who will find it useful when calling on chefs, purchasing managers and buyers," said Brett Harmell, Blue Star's Western regional sales manager.
