Core Tip: Young’s Seafood Limited has launched a Lightly Coated range.
Young’s Seafood LimYoung’s Seafoodited has launched a Lightly Coated range.

Young’s developed the range in direct response to consumer feedback. According to Young’s, while Gastro products provide the perfect restaurant quality meal for two at home, consumers also wanted similar products that would be suitable for the whole family.

The line is being advertised on primetime television throughout the month, supported by a trial-driving promotion in supermarkets at the suggested retail price of GBP 3.99 (USD 6.62, EUR 4.82) for 480 grams.

The Lightly Coated line comes in family sized packs of four-100 percent Alaska pollock fillets in a light and delicate coating. The new range is aimed at busy families looking for a quick and versatile way to incorporate fish into meals and cook in the oven in 20 minutes.

The line is available in three flavors: Lightly Seasoned, Lemon & Herb and Limited Edition Hot & Spicy.

“The Lightly Coated range is an exciting, innovative addition to the frozen fish category. We’re really proud of the new range, featuring our first family focused products in this segment of the frozen category. Our consumers told us they loved our Gastro products and wanted everyone in their family to be able to savor such tasty light coatings,” said Wayne Hudson, Young’s managing director frozen. “The Young’s Lightly Coated products are an easy way for families to get their recommended two portions of fish a week — they cook quickly, go with a whole range of sides and taste delicious.”
