Snoqualmie WiSnoqualmienery, a US-based certified organic vineyard, has revamped packaging for its complete wine range, besides launching a new website.

The revamped packaging includes 397g lightweight ECO glass bottles, which are made by using 25% less glass than an average wine bottle.

Snoqualmie Winery senior marketing manager Kirsten Elliot said that the ECO glass bottles are among the lightest in the industry and will help reduce the company's carbon footprint.

"Beginning in the vineyard and carrying through to the winery and our packaging, it's our belief that investing in these practices is the best way to highlight the wines," added Elliot.

In addition, Snoqualmie Winery's new labels use EarthLabel by Smart Planet Technologies, which is an adhesive label system that provides improved barrier performance while reducing plastic content.

According to the company, corks and labels are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and esnure sustainable practices at the source of origin.
