as released upgrades to its produce-specific software packages.Santa Cruz, Calif.-based Simplified made changes to both its Broker Advantage and Produce Advantage programs, according to a news release.
Broker Advantage offers sales order processing, reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and bank reconciliation.
Produce Advantage adds services including purchase order, traceability, inventory control, grower accounting, and individual customer pricing per commodity.
The upgrades simplify users’ ability to process an order and have all ancillary information easily available.
“These enhancements grew out of client requests to provide all types of information on one screen without having to move to another module,” Greg Mainis, the software’s developer, said in the release.
More than 100 enhancements have been added to the software, ranging from interface design to traceability.
