Holland America Line is rebranding outdoor bistro-style grill areas on 15 of the cruise line's premium ships and signature burgers and hot dogs are part of the upgrades.

"Dive-In at the Terrace Grill" will feature Nathan's Famous all-beef hot dogs. Three signature hot dogs include the Dive-In Dog which is topped with mustard and crispy frizzled onions; the Dog Paddle which is topped with sauerkraut, bacon bits and German mustard, and the Dunkin' Dog which is topped with melted cheese sauce, pickled jalapenos and chopped red onions.

The bistro concept will also serve specialty hamburgers such as the Cannonball with Gouda cheese, applewood smoked bacon and caramelized onions; and the Back Flip chicken breast burger topped with guacamole and other toppings.

Additionally, a Taco Bar will allow diners to make their own tacos with a selection of chicken, beef and pork along with popular condiments, according to Holland America Line.

"We're always listening to our guests and travel partners for ideas to evolve the dining experience on our ships with new concepts, and the Dive-In is an exciting enhancement to our culinary offerings," said Richard Meadows, executive vice president of sales, marketing and guest programs for Holland America Line.

The first ships to open the new gourmet grill were ms Eurodam, ms Amsterdam and ms Maasdam. The remaining ships in the fleet will be opening Dive-In at the Terrace Grill throughout summer 2014.
