US-based Big Wood Brewery has expanded its product range with the launch of fifth beer in Rexam 16oz cans.
Big Wood's new Amigo Grande is a Mexican Style Lager with 5% of alcohol by volume and is an addition to Jack Savage American Pale Ale, Morning Wood Coffee Stout, Bark Bite India Pale Ale and Bad Axe Imperial IPA that are already being sold in cans.
The company has chosen Rexam 16oz cans as they are light-weight, durable and portable and can be recycled at more than double the rate of any other beverage package.
Rexam BCNA president and CEO Rich Grimley said its cans continue to be the ideal packaging choice to bring Big Wood's craft beers to the masses.
"With superior recycling, filling, distribution and retail display economics, cans make sense to help Big Wood continue to build its brand and business," added Grimley.
Big Wood Brewery beers in cans are currently available at bars, restaurants and retailers across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska.
