Jack Cacciato, President of WineWave, and John Keeler, President of Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards are proud to announce a new US sales and marketing partnership between the two companies.

The partnership is effective April 2014. Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards brands include the fast growing Red Cat brand along with White Cat, Cabin Fever, Bramble Berry and Cider Tree Hard Cider.

"In a chance meeting last April with Hazlitt, we were quickly drawn toward synergies existing between both our companies," Cacciato explains. "Hazlitt sells over 200,000 cases of Red Cat in sixteen states around the country. We see great opportunity to take this success across the US within our National Sales network. Red Cat and the newly introduced Cider Tree brand are amongst the hottest and fastest growing brands in the sweet wine and hard cider categories."

Located on Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes Wine District of New York State, the Hazlitt family has been growing grapes since 1852. Five generations later, Jerry and Elaine Hazlitt opened the Hazlitt 1852 Winery in 1985. Today, their children Doug and Leigh keep the family tradition going.

"Our grapes make award-winning wines. Our wines make us new friends," says Doug Hazlitt. "Since 1852, six generations of Hazlitt's have farmed the land, so our roots are deep. But it's more than land. It's a lifestyle. Relaxed, friendly and unpretentious."

Leigh adds,"Teaming up with WineWave will get our message and wines out to a broader audience. After all, it's not fair of us to keep all that fun wine away from the rest of America...."

WineWave and Hazlitt will be rolling out their Sales and Marketing plans to distributors over the next 60 days. Cacciato adds, "WineWave is embarking on a new path with a unique business model that will provide sales and marketing support to our Producer Partners through our National Sales Team."
