Badger State Brewing, an American craft microbrewery, is set to expand its production capacity, in a move to meet the increasing consumer demand for its beer.
The company has commenced the 20,000ft² expansion project near to its existing brewing operations.
The project's initial phase will include a taproom, event space and new brewing equipment, which will enable the company to produce 2,500 barrels of beer annually, as well as allow for statewide distribution.
During the subsequent phases, the company will add new packaging equipment and an outdoor beer garden.
The expansion is expected to be completed in summer 2014.
Badger State Brewing president Andrew Fabry said, "Operating and growing our business in the city we grew up in has been a tremendously rewarding experience. The community support has been incredible since day one, and we could not be more thankful."
