Greene King is launching its first ever price-marked packs with Greene King IPA and Belhaven Best cans.
Both brands will be available as price-marked packs exclusively in the convenience channel and are aimed at giving shoppers confidence that they are receiving good value for money as well as helping increase sales for retailers.
The launch of price marked packs on two of Greene King’s flagship ales is timed to take advantage of the growing opportunity for ales in this channel.
The ale market is one of the fastest growing sectors within alcoholic drinks at four per cent year on year and represents significant opportunity for convenience retailers.
Neil Jardine, Take Home sales director for Greene King Brewing and Brands, said:
“We are launching these brands in price-marked packs at a really exciting time in the evolution of this vibrant and exciting category.
“We believe that, in conjunction with the industry leading TV advertising that they receive, this gives independent retailers a fantastic offer for their customers.”
The price for the four pack of Greene King IPA will be £4.99.
The price for the four pack of Belhaven Best IPA will be £4.49 and they will be available from May.
